Federico is an ambassador for La Cultura Italiana. Federico has been my insegnante for the better part of eight years. With the gift of patience and understanding, I have not only gained the skill and command of a second language but have also made a great friend who has shown me the nuances of the culture and the country. His teaching style is structured with assignments, both written and conversational, allowing for comprehension to build quickly, getting you to a level of competence as quickly as you want to go.

Federico is dependable and well-organized, but he's also flexible, fun to talk to, and very reasonably-priced. Federico is a rare gem of a teacher, one that you will hold in your heart for years to come. He's truly mastered the art of teaching foreiners his native language of Italian which means he has great patience, humor, and skill.
Federico's method is full immersion into Italian and the Italian culture by listening to Italian music, exploring the geographic location of Italy that you will be living in or visiting, as well as reading and writing Italian. I studied with Federico for several months before moving to Rome a few years ago. He is an excellent teacher and is able to explain the structure of the language in a way that makes so much sense it is impossible to forget. Federico is very conscientious and organized and I always felt that he wanted to help me prepare for my move in every way possible, adding elements of Italian culture and history in our lessons.
